<+majorsecurity> theborger: did it work?
<+majorsecurity> theborger: you've been super quiet lately
<+theborger> fuck if i know, it just hurts
<+Dominian> That tends to happen when you jam a dildo up your ass without any lube
<+Beebz> how about both of you suck on a dildo made of ice for a bit to chill out
<Kellin> so googling for the main page for unicorn (the rack server), I typod unicorn crack in the search engine
<Kellin> that is a scary (*#@&$*(@#$#@$#@ result return
<+surrounder> I had a friend coming over so I bought more beer than usual but when I walked home I realised she didn't drink beer anyhow
<+sodomy> surrounder: Well that fucked your plan to roofy her, didn't it?
< bullgard4> Good gracious! The Xfce4.10.1 clock panel plugin today
shows a wrong time. It worked flawlessly for months.
It is 2 minutes fast. I need to check if it syncs via
the Internet. What is its associated underlying
command-line command?
< rworkman> bullgard4: it just shows the system time - if the system
has the correct time, then the plugin shows the correct
time. In other words, use e.g. ntpd to set and keep the
system time correct
< bullgard4> rworkman: No sir. As I said the time worked flawlessly for
month although ntp is not installed. There must be another
underlying package and culprit.
< rworkman> You need ntpd or openntpd or some other similar system-level
software to keep time synced with an internet source.
< rworkman> Other packages don't mess with your system time (or if they do,
then there are bigger problems there), and the clock plugin
only *shows* the time.
< rworkman> You are free to believe what you wish, of course, but this is
not religion.
< bullgard4> My problem is religion-independent.
< rworkman> *whoosh*
<fuzzbawl> DAMN these electric sex pants
<Dominian> I love 'em
<Dominian> Just have to make sure the diodes are hooked to the right parts
<Dominian> You don't wanna go all Napoleon Dynamite trying to go back in time
<+drijen> yeah but you don't drink
<+phy1729> I don't drink coffee or tea either
<+drijen> so
<+drijen> you're an undead zombie phy1729
<+phy1729> aka sysadmin
<mavhq> does MS revoke keys used for malware?
<svetlana> mavhq, not to my knowledge
<mavhq> if not sounds like a scam, like domain names
<+eviljames> for those wondering, I am alive.
<+Alan_Hicks> eviljames: Fuck!
<+Alan_Hicks> I thought some one had thrown your ring into the fires of Mount Doom.
<Kellin> rob0: I'm confused - what does marriage have to do with OSSEC?
<rob0> the guy is married to fail2ban
<Kellin> fail2ban always seems resource heavy to me, but I still use it
<rob0> And if you want to marry it, that's your business, not our place to judge.
<Kellin> meh. I like my firewall rules better.
<rob0> And if you want to marry them, that's your business, not our place to judge.
* andarius will judge :p
<rob0> And by the power vested in andarius by the Commonwealth of Georgia, he now pronounces you Man and Firewall.
<andarius> And not even after death shall you part!
<Kellin> after death no one will have the password and the firewall will block all trespassers
<andarius> Till she is tehreby then formatted and rest to factory defaults!
<andarius> :p
<MajObviousman> this channel is so weird
